Senior XR Developer

TRIPP is seeking a talented and motivated Senior XR Developer who wants to help build experiences that use immersive technology and game mechanics to reward personal mindfulness skill development and pro-social behaviors. We seek passionate technological innovators that find purpose in our mission to support people and help them find greater agency over how they feel over time. Most importantly, we would like to find individuals willing to make a substantial contribution to TRIPP’s unique approach to positively impacting wellness around the world. All positions are fully remote with flexible working hours.

  • Architect and lead development of new features for our VR, AR, and MR products
  • Plan and implement porting strategies to expand our offerings to new platforms and hardware
  • Collaborate with the development team to main code quality and offer our customers the best possible user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in VR, AR, MR, and related technologies

We are seeking a highly skilled XR developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing games and apps in Unity3D, as well as experience porting games or other 3D interactive products to different platforms and consoles, with particular experience developing for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality platforms.

  • 5+ years of experience developing VR/AR games and apps
  • Prefer at least one AAA game release or equivalent professional industry experience.
  • Have a working knowledge of 3D geometry and linear algebra.
  • Experience with console development (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation)
  • Experience with real-time networked features (i.e., synchronous multiplayer games)
  • Experience with machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV)
  • Experience and enthusiasm to develop cutting-edge features with prototype devices and new hardware capabilities
  • Experience supporting a live service with regular content updates.
  • Proven record of working collaboratively in a multi-functional team.
  • Able to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to communicate in English text + video chat.
  • Are passionate about XR, VR, AR, and the potential of technology for good.
  • Are interested in meditation, personal development, and mental wellness.
  • Have prior experience working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, start-up environment.
