Expanding Our Reach: New Tools, Higher Benchmarks, and Boundless Creativity

At TRIPP, our journey has always been about more than just creating digital worlds; it’s about crafting immersive experiences that bring mental clarity, emotional balance, and deep personal exploration. As we continue to grow, expanding our platform to an increasing number of devices, we’ve faced the challenge of ensuring that each experience, regardless of platform, maintains the high standards our users expect.

Scaling TRIPP Across Devices

With each new device—from the new Meta Quest 3 to PlayStation VR2 to the Apple Vision Pro—comes the need for customized versions of our worldscapes and experiences. Our vision is to ensure that whether you’re on the latest high-end device or older hardware, you’ll encounter the same sense of wonder and beauty. This led to the development of a new automated tool that has fundamentally changed our creative workflow.

Automation for Higher Quality Art Across Platforms

Our automated tool allows our artists to start from a higher quality benchmark during the initial creation phase. This tool optimizes the artwork for each platform, ensuring that while the experience is tailored to the capabilities of the device, it remains as close as possible to the original high-end vision. This means more consistency across platforms, less manual tweaking, and better use of our creative team’s time.

Some of our older worldscapes previously struggled with compatibility, especially around advanced shaders. Rather than accepting these limitations, we saw it as an opportunity to reimagine these landscapes, pushing them to even higher visual standards. These refreshed environments are now more visually stunning and reflective of our current artistic capabilities.

Pioneering New Worldscapes

With these advancements in place, our designers and artists can now focus on crafting new worldscapes and immersive experiences, ones that we are incredibly excited to share with you. At TRIPP, we refuse to be trapped by any visual formula. We’re explorers at heart, continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the XR space. We also invite the broader digital art community to join us. The technology we’ve developed encourages artists to bring their own creative visions to life, making TRIPP not just a platform for mindfulness but a canvas for innovation.

Exploring Your Inner World

Our goal is to deliver hundreds of worldscapes, each designed to resonate deeply with different users. Whether you’re looking for a serene space to meditate or a vibrant world to explore, we want to create a place that speaks to you personally.

We thrive on your feedback, and as we continue to expand and evolve, we want you to feel like an integral part of this journey. At TRIPP, we are building these experiences with you, and as we grow, we grow together.

AI and Creativity: A New Frontier

At the heart of this transformation is AI, a tool that’s allowing our team to reach new creative heights. As one of our designers put it, “AI lets me think out loud during the creative process,” enabling faster ideation and iteration without compromising quality. By incorporating AI into our workflow, we’re able to amplify the human imagination in ways previously thought impossible.

Team TRIPP Takeaways:

Matt Bracks, Senior Director of Creative Technology:
“One of the most notable changes you’ll find is in the reimagining of the Calm worldscape Green Leaves in its remaster. The art team decided to take the worldscape in a whole new direction that focuses more on 3D elements and relies less on the 2D elements that filled the previous version. If you haven’t already, I would highly recommend checking it out.”

Trung Nguyen, Technical Artist:
“This latest update is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences that our team has ever gone through. The changes we made and the look we were able to preserve with little to no compromise are what I’m most proud of. I’m both anxious and excited for everyone to see the work we put in.”

Daniel Kharias, Director of Product and Technology Operations:
“I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish with this update. What shines most for me is the small things; reflections on the new higher resolution water really elevate our worldscapes now. Geo Mind and Autumn Whisper are both wonderful examples of what this upgrade exemplifies!”
